No matter how you slice it, cake decorating has become an art form! From the cute and cooky cakes of Charm City Cakes to the classically, detailed ones of Carlos’ Bake Shop, TV shows such as Ace of Cakes, Cake Boss, Food Network Challenge, and Cupcake Wars have provided a slice of life into the time and effort of these bakery businesses.
From the world’s most extreme cake shop, Feed the Beast, The Tattooed Bakers’ Devil’s Horse Cake is one piece of art that takes the cake! With actual Kraken Rum pouring out of the horse’s nostrils, the added feature is certainly the cherry on top.

How old were you when you received your first cell phone?
I got mine soon after I entered high school for my 14th birthday.
With little functional use other than to briefly connect with friends and family, it was one of the more basic phones available. It was no different than the security phones offered at the time, i.e. Firefly, a pre-paid phone for children with parental control access.
However, for a generation now so mainstreamed to stay connected, waiting until high school seems a torturous endeavor for both parent and child akin. Technology is advancing and for the parent that needs to constantly be alert as to the whereabouts of their child, these basic flip phones have been redesigned thanks to the makers of FiLIP, a GPS tracker and voice watch for kids.
Though cool, I wonder how long they will last until kids start to want and ask for smartphones.

What the world will look like if we continue with no preventative measures, sustainable measures, to counteract the destruction being done.
Recently, my classmate, Chris posted a review on Oculus Rift Goggles; goggles that allow you to experience gameplay in a new way by perceptually bringing you into the game.
The concept intrigues my gamer side, but I question the probability of developers eliminating the complaints surrounding motion sickness. Coming from experience, eye strain can lead to dizziness from sitting nose to nose with my computer while playing League of Legends and Skyrim for hours. It’s a common feeling linked with motion sickness and often leads to headaches and overall discomfort. Despite these conditions though, the entertainment of the games prevent gamers like me from breaking away from the screen thus leading to our continued use and problems.
Even if complaints arise, it’ll never stop the gamer from playing, so it’s safe to say the future of these goggles seems bright.

Dream big to draw, create, and have your sketches come to life and jump off the page.…. literally. Thanks to the makers of “WobbleWorks”, the 3Doodler, the world’s first 3D printing pen, is expected to hit shelves in the near future thanks to funding received through Kickstarter.
The unique design persuaded me to donate to the project last year. It will finally give me and many alike an opportunity that would normally only be realistic in cartoons: the ability to draw in the air and create our own 3D version of doodlebob.

Everyone suffers from procrastination; some more than others.
We’ve all experienced the grueling moment when our bosses or professors have assigned so much work we can’t seem to break free from our desk for even a lunch break.
Whether it be for the procrastinator or the work-a-holic, Din-Ink seems like a cute way to help people like me who need to satisfy their hunger cravings but still maintain their working stride.
Din-ink are cutlery pen caps by Andrea Cingoli that attach to one’s favorite pen to enable them to eat while they write without having to continually switch between a pen or pencil and their utensils. (Buy Here)
The only downside that could arise from people like me owning these pens is the habit to constantly gnaw on the caps during a brain fart; it might cause them to break them within the first few minutes.
